Who are we looking for?

Our software trainers are compelling and articulate presenters with a passion for customer coaching and collaboration, who understand our customers’ needs in Lab Information Systems, Acute Hospitals, and/or Blood management. You will be a member of the Customer Success team that deploys our systems to our customers, and as part of that team will ensure that our customers are able to understand and use our software and services, and get the most out of them. You will do this both through hosting formal training sessions with customers and other users, and through more informal coaching, advice, and guidance. You will build strong and long-lasting relationships with customers at a range of roles and backgrounds, and partner with them collaboratively to ensure their needs are met and they are able to get the most from our software and services. You will also be expected to contribute to MAK’s ongoing knowledge and practices in client training, helping to develop and keep up to date best practice training programs. You may also participate in presale activities, such as demonstrations of our software, or preparing and delivering other presentations to potential customers.

A typical day might include:

• Delivering high-quality, engaging instructor-led on-site classrooms and virtual training on our technology and services
• Guiding customers through application configuration, and helping to advise them on the configuration that best suits their needs
• Identifying and improving our approach to training and contributing to the development of new courses and associated materials
• Developing subject matter expertise and knowledge on clients’ business areas and how they
can use our software to meet their needs
• Using that knowledge to direct Clients solutions and uses of our software to help improve outcomes for them and their patients
• Working with the Customer, training and Configuration Manager and Project Manager to understand the customers, needs, and plan the training needed to meet them
• Work with Sales colleagues to provide creative and engaging presentations and demonstrations of MAK-SYSTEM’s technologies

You will have:

• Experience in a Blood Bank, Hospital Transfusion Department, or Medical Lab
• 3+ years’ experience in training or coaching, ideally in a software and/or healthcare/medical setting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. to perform critical job functions, trending, reporting metrics etc.;
• Bachelor’s in Medical Laboratory Science or Computer Science or equivalent
• Knowledge of software development and implementation process
• Experience in biopharma and healthcare information technology such as LIMS, Blood Bank, or Transfusion Services

You may have (nice to have but not essential):

• Experience with SOPs in a regulated environment
• Knowledge of MAK-System software products, or similar blood management software
